Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit Installation - 2019 Ford Fusion- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the Roadmaster Base Plate on a 2019 Ford Fusion. In flat towing your vehicle, there's gonna be five main components that are gonna be required. The first one on the vehicle side is gonna be the base plate and that attaches to the frame of the vehicle creating a solid mounting point to attach to your tow bar. That's gonna be your second component, which is gonna be your connection point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now your base plate will have loops for your safety chain loops, which is gonna be your next component. more

Roadmaster Base Plate Installation - 2010 Ford Fusion- Video

Today on this 2010 Ford Fusion, we're going to install Part Number 4420-1 from Roadmaster. This is their Bracket Kit for their Excel Series. All right. First thing we are going to do is go ahead and open up the hood and get to the fasteners that we need to remove to take off the bumper fascia. We have to remove six plastic fasteners and four screws attaching the upper fascia to the core support. Next, we'll go to the fender wells and there will be three plastic fasteners in each side that we'll have to remove.Okay. more
